APSS 2025
By Benjamin Geist
The Australian Poultry Science Symposium is the premier
avian science conference in Australia, attracting delegates
from right across the country and around the world. This
year our conference will focus on an over- arching theme
of “Enhancing productivity through resilience.”
We have decided that the event will again be exclusively
FACE-TO-FACE, however we are investigating the
possibility of being able to provide a virtual recorded
version, which would be released at the conclusion of the
conference, enabling anyone who could not attend the
event in Sydney to review the presentations and
discussions post- event.
The move back to University Campus was a decision made
to strengthen the relationship between the conference
and the University, with the state of the art facilities at the
Business School offering us a larger tiered lecture theatre,
as well as more smaller spaces for side-meetings and
ample room for socialising and networking at the event.
The program will again officially begin at midday on
Monday, with check- in for the symposium opening at 9am.
As always, APSS will continue to include an excellent array
of invited speakers to feature at the event, as well provide
our delegates plenty of time to network and socialise by
offering a lively social program.
Our extraordinary social program will also provide everyone with plenty of networking opportunities over the 3 day event.
PAPER SUBMISSIONS WILL OPEN: 1st July, 2024
